JOHN DEERE
The John Deere facility is a combination of racking, mezzanine fllor and open plan storage, that was designed to store everything from replacement parts to fully assembled Turf products such as ride on mowers, utility vehicles etc for Australia and New Zealand. Colby Southern were involved from day one to offer a storage solution from design through to installation.
The total warehouse in 20,000 sq mtr's with Colby Southern supplying products to cover over 60% of this area.
The most recent addition was a mezzanine floor covering 1600 sq mtr's in the main warehouse - an over rack platform which has increased the small parts storage by 55% to now provide locations for 85,000 lines.
The racking solution had to be planned to store a wide and varied range of parts from hardware through to body panels and windshields.
