SMART SECTION
High Strength steels and smart section design are combined to provide maximum column strength at minimum cost. A strengthing rib in the front face of the upright column and the reinforcing flanges at the rear, make COLBY columns significantly stronger than conventional systems.

END CONNECTORS
Colby beams gain maximum strength and stiffness by using extra deep sections with internal reinforcing flanges abs ribs, which are firmly welded together. welded beam end connectors futher increase strength and safety.

SAFETY CLIPS
Quick release tappered support lugs on beam end connectors ensure a snug fit to both faces of the upright column. Not only does this increase rigidity and safty it also ensures maximum clearence for stock. Colby's extra strong safety clips are easily removed for adjustment.

BASE PLATES
All Colby Rack are installed with heavey duty base plates.. This is unique to Colby. All base plates provide twin floor fixing and feature fixing postioned behind the column to minimise accidental damage.

BEAMS
All Colby Rack Beams are made from quality assured high strength steel. Various profiles are available to provide the optimum combination of structural performance, durabilly and cost-efficiency. After thorough cleaning beams are finished using an electrostatically applied powder coat paint, which creates a durable, hard wearing finish.
